Process The Wood Waste Using A Briquetting Press

Briquetting is a process that converts wood and agricultural waste into a fuel which is convenient to use and do not harm the environment. A briquette is a block containing flammable material that is used as a fuel for starting and maintaining the fire. There are two main types of briquettes- biomass briquettes and charcoal briquettes.

The concept is that the volume of various wood wastes like MDF, saw dust, soft wood or hard wood, wood shavings, chipboard and plywood can be reduced by changing them into briquettes and using them as a convenient fuel option. And this fact attracts people working with saw mills, furniture industry and agricultural fields.

It is the briquette press that can process the valuable waste of wood and convert it into compact briquettes that can be used to heat the boilers in industries that are involved in generation of electricity. The calorific value of Briquetting is high as compared to regular firewood and brown coal. This is due to long burning process that produces less ash.

When a briquette made of wood waste is burnt, it doesn’t release greenhouse gases that are the main cause of environment pollution as well as global warming. With Briquetting press, wood briquette can be compacted by application of only hydraulic pressure which is free of binders and additives.

Some benefits of briquetting press -

·         1. Optimum use of wood, agro, forestry and other waste
·         2. Efficient management of waste
·         3. There is no requirement of binders or additives.
·         4. Briquettes manufactured by briquetting press can be a source of income
5. Generates an alternative to conventional fossil fuels
