Briquetting Plant And Their Effect On The Environment

Briquetting technology has become a reliable source of energy throughout the world. It is in great demand both in developed and developing world. The technology is cheap and does not require huge amount of capital to set up. Furthermore, the raw material is easily available and is of no shortage. Many countries have seriously taken it and are giving every possible support for setting the biomass project. Today, it has become a hot topic of discussion among the environmentalist. But as every industry has their pros and cons this industry is no different.  It also has its negative impact on the environment and in a negative way.

A briquetting project is heavily depends on the biomass raw material which consists of agro and forestry waste. The briquetting plant is set up according to the availability of raw material. The quality of raw material is essential and will affect the performance of the product to a large extent. To get the finest quality of final products like briquettes and biodiesel, crops like wheat, sugarcane, mustard and corn which are staple food for human. This is where the big problem arises and can create a mess if not managed properly.

The use of food grains for manufacturing biomass briquettes is a threat to the food supply of the world. Vital crops like wheat and mustered is in great demand in the briquetting industry as they are considered an excellent raw material. For example sugarcane is regarded great for producing biodiesel and its waste for producing briquettes. By doing this it will have a negative impact on the supply of sugar made from it. The prices of sugar are bound to rise and this is same is applied to other food crops like wheat etc. Countries like Brazil are using hectares of land growing sugarcane for the purpose of using them to produce biodiesel. In the United States, wheat is grown separately for their use in briquetting plant.

All these practices and the government supporting them is a major concern which was shown by the leading environmentalists. The growth of the industry and their constant requirement for quality of raw material mostly coming from food grains is emerging as an issue. If not properly managed could lead to catastrophic results threatening survival of mankind. If we able to fix that the biomass sector has got tremendous future and will play a major role in fulfilling the power needs. Briquetting press manufacturers have to curtail the production of the machines and supply them in a limited quantity in the market to avoid their overuse.

The biomass technology has emerged in solving our environmentalist issue, but a little loophole in it could lead to serious implications. The agro and forestry waste is used but when it comes to quality raw material using crops which is considered most suitable is preferred over them.

How growth of briquetting plant throughout the globe and use of food crops as most suitable raw material could lead to the shortage of food grains. This could have severe impact on the human beings. For more information click here.

Biomass Briquetting Plant: Accelerating The Rural Growth

India has been riding high with the current boom in the economy and GDP. It has joined some of the elite league consisting of countries that are highly developed both in terms of economy and technology. After achieving all this, the country still lacks and is unable to supply adequate power mostly in rural areas. This is hampering the growth to a great extent and to solve the rural power needs, biomass briquetting plant is playing a crucial role. With the setting up of an industry in rural areas it is going to benefit the masses and economy.

The industry is a sustainable way of producing energy by converting biomass waste. It is available in plethora and the industry will not experience any shortage of the raw material. The raw material is the least one which is of no use and cannot be given to the cattle as a fodder. Farmers now have been acquainted with information regarding the waste that they produce and how vital this is for biomass briquetting industry. The waste is used by the farmers to recycle and manufacture briquettes through the briquetting machines. The briquette is used to generate power without harming environment as it does not emit carbon in the atmosphere.

The plant manufactures briquettes, which helps in accelerating the economic development in rural India. The manufacture blocks of briquette are used to produce energy by burning them. They are more efficient way of producing the energy instead of using it in the form of cow dung cakes. Almost all the major industries in rural areas could use these for generating power in their industries to carry out their business activities hassle free.

Many rural areas are enjoying the uninterrupted electricity and are prospering with the economic development only because of setting up of a biomass briquetting plant. It is indeed a game changer. For more information regarding to briquetting machines and plant you can visit: www.jaykhodiyar.org.

Why I Opted For Biomass Briquettes

The main concern is of a power requirement in rural India. Long and frequent power cuts and interrupted supply of electricity leading loss in business. Majority of business in rural India lags behind due to inadequate supply of electricity and power. I myself has experience this as I run a dairy business in village which needs power to carry out activities. My business was lagging behind because of shortage of power and this made me to look out for other option of power. One of my friend suggested me to go for biomass machinery. As I was not aware of the thing, I told him to explain me about it.

He told me that it is machine which uses biomass waste of agriculture and forestry and produces blocks of briquettes that are further used to generate power by burning them. You can purchase the briquettes as they are available in market in ready form, he told me. When I told him that instead of purchasing I can directly burn the waste to produce energy. It will save me cost and also will generate energy.

He further told me that, by directly burning the biomass waste you are not gaining but loosing. As it produce less energy and emitting carbon smoke in the atmosphere. If you go for briquettes produced by briquetting plant it will generate more energy and no carbon will be released. So it will be cleaver if you opt for the well made product instead of using raw material in the form of cow dung cakes.

So I decided to go for briquettes and after using them for generating power my business since then have enjoyed uninterrupted supply of power. For more information you can visit the company website:

India in terms of land is seventh largest county in the world and accounts 60.47 percent of land under agriculture. It has a tremendous amount of potential when it comes to properly utilizing this waste and manufacturing them to produce biomass briquettes. Due to large area under cultivation great amount of biomass waste is produced. The waste has tremendous amount of energy in the form of carbon contained inside it which if properly utilized will release great energy that can be used in different sectors.

The biomass technology in rural area is boon as it creating job for many people. Availability of raw material and set up of briquette plant has opened job opportunities for them. The sector mostly concentrated to villages because of the favorable conditions like easy availability of raw material, labour and open space. The most important and critical for the industry set up is the raw material easily available by harvesting crops. The large number of biomass waste which cannot be used as a fodder for cattle and other purposes is perfect raw material for this industry.

The raw material than is transported to their destination opening employment opportunities in this sector. For further processing of the raw material the plant need manpower. For carrying out different operational activities the plant needs workforce opening large opportunities of employment. The biomass briquetting technology has proved to be a boon for mostly rural areas. On the first hand it is creating jobs for rural people and on the second it is offering big solution to power scarcity. My Maiden Visit to A Briquette Plant

I recently visited a village in Punjab who has gained popularity because of its self-reliance in producing and supplying uninterrupted power for carrying out agricultural activities. The unit was located inside the agricultural land and was procuring raw material from there. The project was joint venture of private and government. Government is offering a full support to these projects as they are contributing in rural development. There we thought of visiting a briquetting plant and how electricity is produced inside the plant. To answer our questions we were accompanied by official associated with operation of unit. Inside the plant we had seen how briquetting blocks are used in generating electricity.

The plant operates twenty four hour using raw material available in abundance. The industry is environment friendly because it produces no carbon while generating electricity. The official further told us that the industry is also earning carbon credit and making good bucks and profits. Inside the plant there were various types of biomass briquette machines installed producing the briquettes which is the final product used in generating electricity.

I was curious of what are the briquettes and asked the official accompanying us inside the plant. He explained to us that they are biomass waste of plant and agricultural crop. The raw material is used by biomass briquetting machines to produced compressed blocks of briquettes. This is more efficient way of utilizing the biomass waste instead of burning it in their raw form.

India is the only country where the briquetting sector is growing in spite of some early hiccups, he told to us. He further elaborated that because the sector has great potential corporate are also starting to invest in this sector. This will further strengthen the industry which is only benefiting the nation and rural economy. For more information you can visit the website.

Importance Of Bio Fuel And Growing Demand Of Briquetting Plant

Have you every delved on the quantity of wastes generated from agricultural fields, forests, and construction sites? No wonder these wastes, generated in millions of tonnes every year, only pollute the environment. Thanks to the introduction of biomass briquetting machine that truly epitomizes the green revolution. Conversion of the wastes into bio fuel has become easy! This bio fuel is used, though on a small scale, as an alternative for non-renewable fuels like coal, petroleum, and natural gas in various industry segments.

Bio fuel is environment friendly. It does not emit smoke when burnt. It is generally produced in cylindrical and square shapes and sizes differ. It comes with a hole in the middle, allowing greater surface area and creating high combustion. Densification is the key factor in the final output. Higher the densification, higher is the quality of fuel. Use of briquetting plant is the solution. Besides, the bulk density and moisture content of the wastes equally matter.

Why is bio fuel ideal for thermal applications in various industry segments? It is a renewable source of energy. It can be used as an alternative to the conventional fuels, thus preventing depletion of the earth’s natural resources. It is economical, as it is cheaper than other conventional fuels such as coal, wood, diesel, etc. used for generation of thermal power in industries. It has a thermal calorific value of 4000 Kcal/Kg approximately. It does not contain any hazardous material and hence do not pollute the environment when burnt for use.

Bio fuel does not emit fly ash when burnt; its ash content is 2 to 5 percent. Its low moisture facilitates consistent high burning efficiency. Besides, bio fuel has higher fix carbon value and contains high density. Its unique shape facilitates its easy transportation, feeding, and combustion. The various advantages of bio fuel have only raised the demand and importance of briquetting machine manufacturers in India, especially who focus on innovation and advanced features. The high rise in price of fossil fuels will further lead to the boom of this industry in India.

The author through his write-ups educates readers on the benefits and uses of bio fuel and the role of biomass briquetting machine in facilitating production of this fuel.
